How common is it to die in the US army (KIA)?

It is possible to be killed in any job. If your name's on a bullet fired by an arab terrorist in Iraq or on a block of concrete thrown by an idiot kid from a bridge in Florida, you will get it regardless. Hopefully you will live, like most of us.
