What are some really fun and deep co-op story games?

My friend and I are looking for a game where we can play the story together and get a ton of time out it. I'm not looking for a game like GoW, Halo, or R6V2. We're looking for games similar to Fable III, but I've heard that the co-op on that game isn't too great. DR2 looks fun but it's only 10 hours for the story. Also, he doesn't really want to play Borderlands. So, what are some good, long, and fun co-op story mode games?
