Is it possible to upgrade a rc helicopters battery to a higher voltage without damage?

I have a e-flite heli-copter and it came originally with a 7.4v 800mAh 2-cell Li-Po Battery, i want to hook it up to a 9.6V 700mAh Ni-Cd battery. Will it damage the servo?
